I love dies that are multipurpose and this is definitely one of them! You can use it as-is, create a double-high album/card as I've done, and since you can link the die-cuts together the size of your album/card is up to you!!
For my album I linked two die-cuts together. I used the new Tim Holtz SA stamp set, Way With Words and the new Core'dinations Kraft Core Shattered Paper for the background of the album pages. I love the look this paper has without doing anything to it!
On back side of each album page I used Tim's SA Simple Sayings stamp set to add little messages all the way around the album frame.
The little girl was stamped on manila cardstock and colored with Distress Markers using the detail water brush. I used multiple stamped images and popped up a few pieces with foam tape to give her added dimension. That doesn't really show in these photos.
I love the way my album turned out and especially love the message it sends! I have it on my desk at work now.
So hop on over to Frilly and Funkie and take a look at this and the other projects that I created featuring kraft core paper. I hope you like them and feel inspired to make something of your own with kraft core paper. Maybe even share it with us at Sunday Share or follow our current challenge theme of April in Paris and submit it there! We'd love to see what you make!!!
Thanks so much for stopping to take a peek. Have a wonderful weekend!
